ancient-egypt-adaptationsThe Egyptian Civilization or the Nile Valley Civilization developed along the river Nile in Southern Egypt. It is evident from the research that the civilization inhabitants came from the south of Egypt and not from parts of Europe. Ancient Egypt adaptation, as the name suggests refers to the way this civilization adapted to ever-changing environments and progressed their race.

People of Egypt lived in tropical and semi-tropical climates. As adaptation was the key to sustaining the race, the Nile Valley civilization was perfectly adapted to the weather conditions. Egyptians did well adapt to the environment for thousand of years. Their body structure and the proportion of their limbs portray their high levels of adaptation indicating they were perfectly at ease with the climatic conditions. Ancient Egyptians never looked to migrate to the North West because of the cold weather present there. However, studies suggest that as compared to the present times, the average temperature was much lower in hot and tropical regions of the world.

The Resemblance of ancient Egyptians to ancient Africans

Ancient Egypt Adaptation Theory has some very interesting facts to state as the ancient Egyptian people resembled a lot like ancient Africans. It is believed and claimed that ancient Egyptians were African descendants. Ancient scribes have also indicated that many people came from regions such as Sudan and Sahara. The Africans were made to thrive in the hot climate, they had larger noses, thicker lips, and shorter hair.

The way Egyptians dressed and conducted themselves were in no way bearing any physical resemblance to Europeans. The color of their skin was brownish and their facial expressions were indications of adaptation to the climate. Over the years it was due to this adaptation, their bodies genetically repositioned their biological disposition to support their sustenance in such weathers. This puts them close to comparison to Africans rather than Europeans. Thus this does not necessarily mean that ancient Egyptians were indeed Africans.

Some sculptures of people discovered in ancient Egyptian ruins also have such characteristics indicating the adaptations to the weather. This could mean that ancient Egyptians adapted to the environment the way ancient Africans did.

As adaptation takes thousands of years to bear its fruit. If ancient Egyptian adaptation theories were to be believed, ancient Egyptians were the perfect example of evolving with the times. Ancient Egypt Civilization is indeed one of the oldest, richest and successful civilization making its mark even today.
